COLLECTIVE BARGAINING UNIT: This position is in a collective bargaining unit.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: This position is located in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The incumbentis responsible for ensuring cybersecurity compliance with government regulations and tax compliance requirements, creating, and implementing policies and procedures, performing physical inspections, conducting vendor assessments and audits, responding to security incidents, and providing training to employees. Duties include but are not limited to: performing day-to-day operations of the in-place security solutions while identifying, investigating, and resolving security breaches detected by those systems; conducting risks and vulnerability assessments of planned and installed information systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs; developing policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data; and serving as a liaison to stakeholders in applying business process engineering concepts and methods. Performs other related duties as assigned.
 Five (5) years of progressive work experience performing the related duties and responsibilities such as: analyzing information technology security risks, protocols, and procedures; implementing security solutions; creating and maintaining policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures; and conducting vulnerability audits and assessments. The ability to support security and privacy controls for federal information systems and tax compliance to ensure that cybersecurity measures meet IRS tax compliance regulations is preferred. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA Security , CEH certification is also preferred.Experience that provides the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for this position.
